In 1991, Broome's son Jack left for Cate, a California prep school he attended in hopes of getting into a prestigious college. Father and son had an especially close relationship, because Jack had been living with Broome for the four years since his parents' divorce. To maintain their connection, Broome wrote his son frequently, and these letters, though of limited interest, testify to his love for Jack. Much of the correspondence deals with values Broome considers important and would like to inculcate in his son, such as integrity, hard work and leadership. He also wants Jack to adhere to his conservative political opinions, and he has written several letters that strike a discordant note as nothing but diatribes against Democratic presidents, unions, communists and social welfare programs. Other letters express nagging concern about Jack's grades and Broome's apparently unfounded worry that his son will drink too much. Broome was recently injured by a drunk driver in a car crash, and included here is an essay Jack wrote about his father's accident.

Charity, I would also like to congratulate you and your father, Mark Virkler, on the best book on dreams that I have personally ever read. And I read Herman Riffel's book many years ago, but it pales in comparison to this book. Now that is saying a lot considering Herman's contribution to this subject. My delight in reading your book is based on my reading of just the first five chapters.One thing that I appreciate most about it is the genuine insight. You definitely did not regurgitate something that you had learned third-hand. This book is fresh and personal insight given from the Father Himself. This book has the "voice of God" on it. I've been studying His voice for years and I recognize His authentic voice in the many different ways He presents Himself and this book is God speaking fresh wisdom. I'm so glad that you are sharing your part. As we have come to understand that we know that scripture says, we see in "part". I believe that God gives every person a part of a puzzle (a piece of understanding) and when a person is willing to share their part with others, the many authentic parts form "a more complete" revelation when brought together. That is what you has done. You have given us "her" part and it is refreshing.You also did a fantastic job of balancing interpretation with revelation. I've read so many books by authors that thought they could get away with revelation that they could not substantiate biblically. Likewise, I have read many books by "theologians" that thought interpretation without revelation was good. But the Spirit and the Word agree and you definitely brought together sound revelation with clearer biblical interpretation.I can also feel the sincerity of your relationship with God. I can likewise picture you as He has hidden you in His bosom and held you close through life. I can feel His love for you and I can see that you are is like a kid in His presence and just sucks up the joy of being recognized by Him. What a work you has put together. I could feel all of this from just reading this book.And kudos to your father too. Charity is a testament to the reality that God call families. And she is a testament that God is establishing your work and ensuring that all you have done will be carried forth for generations to come. Just the act of writing down your dream will help you pay attention to elements that appear unusual or out of place.When you ask the Lord why the strange elements are in your dream, His answer might not be immediate but when you least expect it . . . the answer will pop in your mind. Charity says dream interpretation is like learning French. It takes practice to learn this new God language in the night. Truly an excellent book written to interpret dreams. The author is biblically based, has very close relationship with God, spirit led and written in a simple way that explains, guides and teaches. I often have dreams that sometimes I understand and sometimes I am confused. There are many occasions that God uses dreams to speak to me and it got my attention after all these years for me to know the need to interpret my dreams biblically. However most websites or books are generalised and often not relevent in my context and not biblically based. By chance, God led me to this book on amazon that holds my attention and prompted me to buy it. I have not regretted getting this amazing book and today I am more confident in understanding what God is telling me in my context and knowing how to pray to God further in getting his insights on my dreams. The author truly walk the talk and had years of experiences, its a not money making book but it is meant to bless us who wants to know deeper of God's heart through one of his chosen ways - dreams.

Most clear and simple book on dreams I've read. Helped me gain understanding FAR more than any other book regarding Interpretation of dreams and commuting with God. Very timely and heaven sent. Cannot recommend it highly enough. I ha e been purchasing for my friends and family and have been telling them all about dreams and how God LOVES to communicate with us through them, and how we can learn to understand them with Him!!! This book opened up a realm of intimacy that I never knew was availability in my 30 plus years of being born again! I've had vivid 'God dreams" over the years, but they were few and far between. I took 14 days to read this book and recorded dreams 12 of the days and the other 2 days I had to learn the lesson that if you don't jot down a note or two, you will forget the dream! Before reading this book, I rarely remembered any dreams, So sad! What a wonderful way to open up the realm of hearing God speak!!!Each dream spoke a message to my heart!!! Read this book with expectancy! You won't be disappointed!!!

This was such a wonderful book. I cannot wait to go to sleep at night. I love receiving intimate messages from the Father as I sleep and revelation from Holy Spirit while I'm awake. We commune all day!! Thank you for sharing this with us, it has changed my life!!
