Charity, I would also like to congratulate you and your father, Mark Virkler, on the best book on dreams that I have personally ever read. And I read Herman Riffel's book many years ago, but it pales in comparison to this book. Now that is saying a lot considering Herman's contribution to this subject. My delight in reading your book is based on my reading of just the first five chapters.One thing that I appreciate most about it is the genuine insight. You definitely did not regurgitate something that you had learned third-hand. This book is fresh and personal insight given from the Father Himself. This book has the "voice of God" on it. I've been studying His voice for years and I recognize His authentic voice in the many different ways He presents Himself and this book is God speaking fresh wisdom. I'm so glad that you are sharing your part. As we have come to understand that we know that scripture says, we see in "part". I believe that God gives every person a part of a puzzle (a piece of understanding) and when a person is willing to share their part with others, the many authentic parts form "a more complete" revelation when brought together. That is what you has done. You have given us "her" part and it is refreshing.You also did a fantastic job of balancing interpretation with revelation. I've read so many books by authors that thought they could get away with revelation that they could not substantiate biblically. Likewise, I have read many books by "theologians" that thought interpretation without revelation was good. But the Spirit and the Word agree and you definitely brought together sound revelation with clearer biblical interpretation.I can also feel the sincerity of your relationship with God. I can likewise picture you as He has hidden you in His bosom and held you close through life. I can feel His love for you and I can see that you are is like a kid in His presence and just sucks up the joy of being recognized by Him. What a work you has put together. I could feel all of this from just reading this book.And kudos to your father too. Charity is a testament to the reality that God call families. And she is a testament that God is establishing your work and ensuring that all you have done will be carried forth for generations to come. Just the act of writing down your dream will help you pay attention to elements that appear unusual or out of place.When you ask the Lord why the strange elements are in your dream, His answer might not be immediate but when you least expect it . . . the answer will pop in your mind. Charity says dream interpretation is like learning French. It takes practice to learn this new God language in the night. With the Holy Spirit as your teacher, you will be surprised how quickly you will be doing expert interpretations for you and your friends.Authors often just pull from other authors and resources to rehash the same ideas. Truly an excellent book written to interpret dreams. The author is biblically based, has very close relationship with God, spirit led and written in a simple way that explains, guides and teaches. I often have dreams that sometimes I understand and sometimes I am confused. There are many occasions that God uses dreams to speak to me and it got my attention after all these years for me to know the need to interpret my dreams biblically. However most websites or books are generalised and often not relevent in my context and not biblically based. By chance, God led me to this book on amazon that holds my attention and prompted me to buy it. I have not regretted getting this amazing book and today I am more confident in understanding what God is telling me in my context and knowing how to pray to God further in getting his insights on my dreams. The author truly walk the talk and had years of experiences, its a not money making book but it is meant to bless us who wants to know deeper of God's heart through one of his chosen ways - dreams.

We found this unexpected treasure of a book for free a few years ago. As homeschoolers, we are always looking for unique resources. This book made my son laugh so hard at the end (the cloud story), he quoted it for days after. The wonderful thing is, it is accurate & full of solid Scientific facts...... but along with it there are stories woven in, cloud idioms are introduced, humor is infused. There is a wholeness to his approach that truly encompasses the curiosity & inclusiveness that children who love Science possess. He gets it. I wish all authors of children’s Science books did.

This book is very informative about clouds. My 4th graders liked the illustrations. If you want to use this book as an Accelerated Reader book, be aware that the quiz is very specific. This is not a book that your students can read once or twice and pass the quiz. They need to know each kind of cloud and their descriptions. This book provides that, but the content is hard for students to remember if they haven't been studying it.

I used this book for my grade 2 literacy book that incorporated a science activity. It has great artwork and gives simple understanding of the what is it, what does it do, and hows of cloud types (which are part of framework and benchmarks). It also tells of what other cultures and times thought of the clouds. Overall a great book with great real-life comparisons.

Great book to help teach about clouds in a fun way. My 2nd grade students enjoyed it, I used it for a read aloud to go along with our weather unit.
